The Kepler Advantage combines the proven Kepler tracking device with Inilex’s award-winning Vehicle Interface Module (ViM™), giving users the ability to simultaneously track, control and monitor vehicles through the wireless network.

The Kepler provides wireless GPS tracking, allowing users to track their vehicles via e-mail, cell phone or the web. Configurable geofences send alerts when defined perimeters are violated, giving automatic notification when vehicles enter or exit areas of interest.

The ViM connects directly to the vehicle’s computer network, issuing commands to lock or unlock doors, automatically start the vehicle or perform a host of other functions. If the vehicle is stolen, the ViM can disable the ignition, while the Kepler device provides detailed vehicle location to enable recovery.

The ViM can also read information from the vehicle’s computer and transmit it back to the subscriber. Using this feature, the system can remotely monitor such parameters as tire pressure, engine performance and the exhaust system, alerting when the vehicle needs maintenance.
